IE's native history feature is poor, this add-on (toolbar) do improve your experience by display visited page's image but not only text. It also display date time information and you can set host name filter such as "www.msn.com" or just "msn" to search visited pages.

After installation, history capture logging mechanism shall automatically activated when you use IE, however, due to Vista's cache design, you might need restart computer to invoke "Visual History" toolbar. To invoke toolbar, you can click tool button:
or select "Explorer Bar":
Known Issues: Navigate to other page or close IE before document complete downloaded may cause no history recorded for given page. This behavior is by design.
